Itinerary: Wakatobi Island-Hopping & Snorkeling Adventure

Day 1 – Arrival & Wangiwangi Island Discovery

Welcome to Wakatobi! Upon arrival at Matahora Airport (Wangiwangi), our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. After a refreshing welcome drink and lunch, enjoy a short rest before we begin our first adventure.

  • Air Goa Cave Visit: Explore this mystical limestone cave with freshwater pools and local legends. A great introduction to Wangiwangi’s natural charm.
  • Snorkeling Session: Dive into the clear waters off Wangiwangi’s coast, where vibrant coral gardens and playful reef fish await.
  • Evening Leisure: Return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy free time to relax or explore the town’s night market.

Operational Note: All snorkeling gear is provided. The first session is guided and beginner-friendly.

Day 2 – Tomia Island: Coral Reefs & Coastal Serenity

After breakfast, we’ll pack and board a regular inter-island boat to Tomia — known for its dramatic underwater drop-offs and tranquil beaches.

  • Boat Transfer to Tomia: Enjoy scenic views of the archipelago during the 2–3 hour crossing.
  • Hotel Check-in & Lunch: Settle into your AC room and enjoy a hearty local meal.
  • Afternoon Snorkeling: Explore Tomia’s famed coral walls and shallow lagoons. Expect sightings of clownfish, sea turtles, and vibrant soft corals.
  • Dinner & Free Time: Unwind at the hotel or take a sunset stroll along the beach.

Operational Note: Snorkeling locations are selected based on weather and visibility. All sessions include safety briefings.

Day 3 – Kadelupa & Hoga Island: Culture & Coral Exploration

Rise early for a cultural excursion before heading deeper into the Wakatobi chain.

  • Sunrise Visit to Patua Fort (Kahianga Peak): Discover this historic hilltop fortress with panoramic views of Tomia’s coastline. Great for photos and cultural storytelling.
  • Breakfast & Packing: Return to the hotel for breakfast and prepare for transfer.
  • Boat Transfer to Kadelupa & Hoga Island: A scenic journey through turquoise waters, arriving at Hoga — a diver’s paradise.
  • Homestay Check-in & Lunch: Experience local hospitality in a twin-sharing non-AC bungalow surrounded by nature.
  • Snorkeling at Kadelupa’s Best Spots: Guided exploration of coral gardens, sea fans, and reef slopes. Ideal for underwater photography.
  • Visit to Bajo Sampela Village: Meet the sea-dwelling Bajo community, known for their floating homes and deep-sea traditions.
  • Dinner & Free Time: Return to Hoga for a relaxed evening under the stars.

Operational Note: Bajo Sampela visit includes cultural briefing and respectful engagement. Photography is welcome with permission.

Day 4 – Return to Wangiwangi & Departure

After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey back to Wangiwangi for your outbound flight.

  • Check-out from Hoga: Farewell to the island life.
  • Boat Transfer to Wangiwangi: Enjoy final views of the archipelago.
  • Breakfast at Wakatobi Bajo Resort: A farewell meal with ocean views.
  • Airport Drop-off: Our team will assist with your transfer and check-in.
